The kids and I had A BLAST for the Fourth of July!! We spent the day with CB and his girls, Riley and Miranda, in Gilbert.
We started the day with CB making breakfast! Yum! Then to Shane and Kristi's house (CB's brother) for some swimming and a bbq. Almost the entire Allen family was there. They are such a fun family! Logan and Addi both went off the diving board with NO FLOATATION devices! It was a proud moment, I have to say!
Before heading to fireworks, we headed back to the house and tried to get the kids to take a nap. Yeah ... no such luck! But they played nicely so CB and I could rest (sort of). We played some games and jumped on the trampoline and had a fun time, just hanging out.
After a quick bite to eat at Chick-Fil-A, we headed to Chandler to meet with Danelle (CB's sister in law) and her sisters and kiddos to watch the fireworks. There were carnival rides, live bands and lots of family to play with. The kids were able to stay awake to watch the first 10 minutes or so of the fireworks show and then all four crashed!
We had so much fun, we didn't want to day to end!
